FOX Senior Living Spotlight: Independent Living

FOX Rehabilitation is set to illuminate various aspects of senior living throughout the year. In the first segment of our Spotlight series, FOX’s Director of Senior Living Partnerships, Sarah Carothers, along with Kelly Danks, PT, DPT, GCS, and Michael Melnick, PT, MSPT, CSCS, delve into the topic of independent living. Older adults who reside independently in senior living communities enjoy functional independence and the freedom to come and go as they please. However, in the absence of nursing oversight or wellness services, FOX takes proactive measures to offer support, aiming to enable these residents to maintain their independence for as long as possible. By providing engaging exercise classes and establishing a presence within the senior living community, FOX assumes a clinical authority role, actively identifying and addressing any emerging health concerns.
