What is FOX Wellness?

FOX Wellness is a one-on-one, in-home fitness and wellness program designed to help you stay active, strong, and independent as you age.

Offered by FOX Rehabilitation, this program focuses on prevention — helping you maintain mobility, balance, flexibility, and strength before issues arise.

With FOX Wellness, a trained Fitness Specialist will:

  • Come directly to your home or senior living community
  • Create a personalized program based on your goals and abilities
  • Work with you one-on-one to improve strength, mobility, and confidence
  • Help you stay consistent, safe, and progressing over time

Who is FOX Wellness best for?

FOX Wellness is best for individuals (typically 50–60+) who:

  • Want to stay active and independent
  • Improve flexibility and balance
  • Feel stronger and more confident in everyday life
  • Are not currently in need of medical therapy
  • Are interested in a fitness and prevention-focused program

The goal:
To help you live better, longer by staying ahead of physical decline — not reacting to it.


Is FOX Wellness covered by insurance?

No — FOX Wellness is a private pay program and is not covered by insurance or Medicare. If you do not have a prescription or insurance but want to improve your overall health and wellness, FOX Wellness could be a great fit for you!

This program is ideal for active adults (typically 50–60+) who want to:

  • Stay strong and independent
  • Improve mobility and flexibility
  • Prevent decline before it starts

If you’re looking for skilled therapy covered under Medicare Part B, FOX Rehabilitation also offers in-home physical, occupational, and speech therapy services.

What’s the difference between FOX Wellness and skilled therapy?

Both programs are provided by FOX Rehabilitation — but they serve different needs.

FOX Wellness (Private Pay)

  • Focus: Prevention, fitness, and staying active
  • Designed for: Adults (typically 50–60+) who want to maintain strength, mobility, and independence
  • Includes: Customized exercise, mobility, balance, and flexibility programs
  • Setting: In your home or senior living community — we come to you
  • Coverage: Private pay (not covered by insurance/Medicare)

Skilled Therapy (Covered by Medicare Part B)

  • Focus: Rehabilitation and medical necessity
  • Designed for: Individuals recovering from injury, surgery, illness, or experiencing functional decline
  • Includes: Physical, occupational, or speech therapy prescribed by a physician
  • Goal: Restore function, reduce pain, and improve safety with daily activities
  • Coverage: Typically covered by Medicare Part B (when criteria are met)

In short:

  • FOX Wellness = stay ahead of decline
  • Skilled Therapy = recover and restore function

How does FOX Wellness work?

Getting started with FOX Wellness through FOX Rehabilitation is simple and personalized:

1. Get in touch
Fill out a form or contact our team to express interest. We’ll connect with you to learn more about your goals and needs.

2. Initial consultation
A FOX Fitness Specialist will meet with you (in your home or senior living community) to assess your:

  • Strength and mobility
  • Balance and flexibility
  • Current activity level and goals

3. Personalized plan
We’ll create a customized program tailored to you — whether your goal is staying active, improving mobility, or preventing future issues.

4. Ongoing sessions
Your Fitness Specialist will work with you one-on-one, guiding you through exercises and adjusting your program as you progress.

5. Track progress + adjust
We continuously monitor your progress and evolve your plan to help you safely build strength, confidence, and independence.

We come to you — making it easy, convenient, and consistent!


How much does FOX Wellness cost?

FOX Wellness is a private pay program, and pricing can vary based on your location and session frequency. Our team will walk you through options and help find a plan that fits your goals and budget.


How often would I work with a Fitness Specialist?

Most clients work with a FOX Fitness Specialist 1–3 times per week, depending on their goals. We’ll recommend a schedule during your initial consultation and adjust as you progress.


Do I need a doctor’s referral to get started?

No referral is needed for FOX Wellness.
You can get started directly with FOX Rehabilitation.


What types of exercises or activities are included?

Your program is fully personalized, but may include:

  • Strength training
  • Balance and fall prevention
  • Flexibility and mobility work
  • Functional movements for everyday activities

Everything is tailored to your comfort level and goals.


What if I already exercise or go to a gym?

That’s great! FOX Wellness is designed to complement what you’re already doing.

We focus on improving movement quality, addressing limitations, and helping you stay consistent and injury-free.


Is this the same as physical or occupational therapy?

No — FOX Wellness is focused on prevention and fitness, not medical treatment. If you need skilled therapy for an injury or condition, FOX Rehabilitation also provides in-home therapy covered by Medicare Part B.


What if I’m not sure if I need therapy or wellness?

No problem — our team can help guide you.We’ll ask a few questions and recommend the best fit based on your needs and goals.


Who are the FOX Fitness Specialists?

Our Fitness Specialists are trained professionals who specialize in working with older adults and understand how to safely improve strength, balance, and mobility.


Do I need equipment at home?

No — your Fitness Specialist can bring or recommend simple equipment if needed.
Many programs use minimal or no equipment, focusing on functional movement.


How quickly will I see results?

Many clients begin to notice improvements in strength, flexibility, and confidence within a few weeks, especially with consistent sessions.


Can this help prevent falls or injuries?

Yes — improving strength, balance, and mobility can reduce the risk of falls and injuries, helping you stay independent longer.
