R. Lockwood Murphy

Lockwood graduated from Clemson University in 2009 with a BS in food science and human nutrition. He went on to achieve his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the Medical University of SC in 2012 when his career began at Dekalb Medical Center, specializing in post-TBI and wound care.

Lockwood joined FOX in 2014 as a physical therapist. In 2017 he became Regional Director (RD) of Charleston, SC regions and served as RD mentor in Nashville and Baton Rouge, LA. Though promoted in 2024 to New Territory Clinical Operations Director for the Practice, Lockwood continues to serve as RD for Charlotte, NC.

Lockwood hails from Charleston, SC, where he currently lives with his wife Sarah and two children, Hattie and Charles. Outside of work, you can find Lockwood playing basketball and golf and cheering on Clemson and the Carolina Panthers.
