Happy Nurses Week! You knock our socks off!
How do we FOX clinicians really feel about the nurses we work with? They knock our socks off!
Kiki
“She is a true joy to work with, and I will always appreciate the love she has for her residents.”
– Jacqueline Strassell, PT, DPT, FOX SLC Lead Clinician, OH Southwest 1

“LaKeitha (“Kiki”) is an amazing nurse at Provision Living in West Chester, Ohio who has gone above and beyond since the day she started. She comes to work daily with a smile that lights up and brings joy to residents as she goes room to room. You always know when Kiki is on duty, as you hear her laughter throughout the building from staff, residents, and families. There is not a person on campus who can contain their smile with Kiki around. From a therapy view, when she is working, residents always seem to be in a better mood and happy to be out of their room. She is attentive to the residents and knows what is going on with all of them; if she doesn’t, she will find out as quickly as possible as “I don’t know” is not in her vocabulary. Any time there is a problem with a resident (i.e. change in medical status), she ensures that the resident is taken care of and is her top priority at that moment and that all necessary parties (including the therapy team) are aware of what is happening. When talking to staff in the building and residents, it is often stated how much they appreciate and love her. She is a true joy to work with, and I will always appreciate the love she has for her residents.“
Jason
“Jason is always willing to go above and beyond…”
– Emily Nahf, PT, DPT, SLC Lead Clinician, NJ South

“Jason is always willing to go above and beyond for All American Assisted Living in Washington Twp. Jason is always willing to pick up shifts or stay late to help out. All the residents love him, and he knows how to make them smile. He is constantly helping other staff members or members of the therapy team. He came in on his day off to help out with the Easter egg hunt. He is always dependable and there for you when you need him.“
Gigi
“Gigi embodies all that there is on how to be a #nurse!”
– Jorrel Mendoza, PT, Physical Therapist, Illinois Northeast 1

Pictured: Gianna “Gigi” Liberatore is all smiles with her patient and Bickford resident Rose Tynski and FOX Physical Therapist, Jorrel Mendoza.
“Gigi is a ray of sunshine in a world that’s becoming dim because of hopelessness and apathy. She always goes to work and performs her duties with a smile. She treats the residents here at Bickford of Oswego like her own relatives. A hectic schedule does not prevent her from stopping by a resident who is asking for pain medication, directions, or just for a hug. Gigi embodies all that there is on how to be a #nurse!“
Shakira
“She’s approachable and accommodating, always with a friendly smile.”
– Karilyn McCloskey, MS, PT, SLC Lead Clinician, New Jersey West 2

Pictured: Valued and adored Arbor Community nurse, Shakira Perry.
“Shakira Perry is an asset to the Arbor community and a valuable collaborator on our team. She illustrates dedication, compassion, and assurance daily to her residents. I have observed her directing, even on her days off, in the grocery store. At times she’s been seen running down the hall with a knee brace during an emergency.
“Shakira reassures and redirects our anxious clients to encourage participation in the rehab gym. As a rehab team member, she manages vitals, pain, skin integrity, and overall resident well-being. There’s not a day that we don’t follow up with her. She’s approachable and accommodating, always with a friendly smile. The residents adore and appreciate her, as does the FOX team.
“Happy Nurses Week!”
Leah
“…we and our patients are lucky to have her in our corner.”
– Toni Dinorscia, OTR/L & Jillian Alderfer, PT, DPT – PA Lehigh Valley 2

Pictured: Most reliable and dedicated Abington Manor Memory Care nurse, Leah Price.
“Naturally, being the lead nurse comes with a lot of duties, hats, and stressors; however Leah is one of the most reliable nurses in any facility we’ve treated in thus far. She takes our concerns seriously, answers our questions with efficiency, and advocates for the residents as if they were her own family members. Her dedication does not go unnoticed, and we and our patients are lucky to have her in our corner.”
