Commercial Insurance
Processor
This position was created to ensure accuracy when billing secondary, supplemental, or out-of-network insurances. In addition, the Commercial Insurance Processor must obtain authorization for services, and ensure that our practice is reimbursed for the full reimbursable amount of money. Some of the duties of this position include, but are not limited to, verifying patients’ secondary and supplemental insurances, verifying and obtaining all out-of-network benefits for insurances other than the traditional Medicare part B. Additionally, the Commercial Insurance Processor is responsible for auditing admission entries directly from Customer Care Coordinators to ensure payment on all claims submitted to Medicare.
