Tim Fox and I were in the same Masters program together and I’ve known his wife since grade school. But still, it was years before it hit me to see them as something besides friends. One day Tim said, "Why don’t you come join us?" Our philosophies fit and he had a brilliant plan to serve the geriatric community. It’s been so great. I’ve had the freedom to mold my career the way I wanted to. And the patients are wonderful. For instance, one man I’d treated a few years back took a fall. They were all set to take him to a rehab center and he said, “No. Just call Robyn and take me home and she’ll take care of me.” And I did. Now he’s doing great, and I got to see him and his wife when they came to my twins’ birthday party.
