I developed a passion for geriatric care when I was working at an outpatient clinic. These elderly patients had such determination in getting in to see me. Then it hit me, why should these physically challenged people struggle to get to me, an able-bodied clinician? When I heard about Fox, I couldn't get here fast enough. It's been one rewarding story after another. Just the other day I had a patient come in foot propelling in a wheel chair. He and his family were adamant that he couldn't walk. Within 15 minutes, I showed him how to stand up and use his balance. Next I helped him start walking. Tears of gratitude streamed down his face. That's what we do here. We see what's possible and change lives.
